Enforcement Training for Officers across the UK

05 November 2021

Over 400 Enforcement Officers from Trading Standards, Border Force, Customs and Police from across the UK attended the Anti-Counterfeiting Group (ACG) November Enforcement Training.

Although physical events are now begging to happen again, after they have been on hold due to the pandemic, the ACG wanted to continue these online training sessions to continue engagement with its members and enforcement partners even though things are starting to return to normal.

This ACG November Enforcement Training series kicked off on Monday, 1 November with a session on every day from Monday to Friday. At each event, different ACG brand members provided product updates and shared information to help officers prevent counterfeit goods from entering the country and reaching consumers.

ACG member brands that presented got to directly train Enforcement Officers on the issues of counterfeiting and how best to identify fake products. A full list of brands can be found here:

The ACG wanted to get this training out now to prepare officers ahead of the ‘Black Friday’, ‘Cyber Monday’ and Christmas rush. The ACG plan to host further training both physically and online in the new year.
