The Anti-Counterfeiting Group (ACG) is a huge supporter of the brands and in its role as government influencer and enforcement supporter, it hosted an Intellectual Property (IP) Roadshow in London today.
More than 186 delegates and exhibitors travelled to the Hilton Olympia hotel to network with fellow officers and IP professionals and enjoy a range of informative IP related presentations and brands’ exhibition.
North Face, Vans, JML, MICHAEL KORS, Babylis, Unilever, BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, Levi Strauss and many other brands exhibited genuine and counterfeit products to enable delegates from enforcement agencies such as Border Force, Police and Trading Standards the opportunity of examining goods and speaking directly with the brand protection experts.
ACG host four IP Roadshows a year across the UK and invite enforcement officers and members to attend. To learn more about these and other events and their dates and locations for 2020, check the Events webpage.
ACG represents more than 3,000 brands affected by this influx of fakes into the UK and delivers an international network of information, advice and contacts on all aspects of IP protection. Working with Government and law enforcement agencies since 1980, ACG is focused on providing an effective and sustained response to counterfeiting.
Membership with the ACG is the best way to work with government and enforcement bodies to protect your brand. Our Roadshows and training days help you reach out to police, trading standards and border force officers and tell them about your genuine products.
