We are pleased to invite ACG members to attend this webinar with two speakers.

Speaker One:

Paul Varley - Chief Executive Officer, Digital Enforcement Concepts Limited

From Defense to Offense: Protecting Your Brand from Counterfeiting While Turning Your Loss into Profit

In an increasingly interconnected digital world, with counterfeiters now armed with an arsenal of digital tools to exploit any brand at lightspeed, we explore how brands can safeguard their rights from those who are looking to financially benefit from their fame and popularity, while discussing ways to turn such loss into profit.

Paul founded Digital Enforcement Concepts which was the culmination of over 30 years of UK military & law enforcement experience to deliver world class services and solutions to clients. Most of Paul’s police career was spent in intelligence, operational & enforcement roles which highlighted the immense value of a proactive, tactical solution to the threat posed by Organised Crime Groups.

As DEC has grown into a global presence, the core values and focus of the company have remained unchanged- It is in his DNA to use his skills and abilities, and those of the team, to protect companies and the general public, from the often devastating personal and economic impact of counterfeiting.

Speaker Two:

Ron Harrison – Managing Director, Surelock

Achieving the best possible results, through pro-active investigations, utilizing surveillance / undercover operatives and the most up to date equipment

Ron is the Managing Director of Surelock an investigative and security consultancy, after being a career detective of 30 years, working in several specialist departments at Scotland Yard, both in UK and overseas. He retired in 1998 and was head hunted by one of his former senior officers to work with Surelock and in 2000 was approached to carry out brand protection investigations for several US clients, his approach to this was pro-active, gathering intelligence through surveillance to identify the supply chain, with great successes in South Korea. As a result of this success the clientele grew, now representing some of the most famous brands in the world. Achieving some of the largest seizures ever in the UK utilising undercover and surveillance techniques.  A workaholic who doesn’t suffer fools gladly.
