Steven Evans

Steven Evans is an Associate General Counsel of IP at Meta Platforms, Inc., where he focuses on combating IP infringement — especially counterfeiting — across Meta's platforms, particularly as it relates to Meta's proactive enforcement policies and off-platform efforts against bad actors. He also works closely with rights holders, trade organizations, and other stakeholders to learn about the challenges they face and work together to find creative solutions. Prior to joining Meta, Mr. Evans practiced as a commercial litigator at a law firm in New York, where he worked on cases encompassing IP disputes, breach of contract claims, fraud, appellate litigation, bankruptcy, and securities litigation in both state and federal courts, as well as through AAA arbitration. Mr. Evans holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, and he received his Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Deanna Vollmer

Deanna Vollmer is a Brand Protection Manager at Meta. She has been on the IP Operations team at Meta for 8 years and has been leading the brand protection engagements program for 4 years. Her work focuses on collaborating with rights holders, trade organizations, and brand protection service providers to holistically inform Meta’s IP protection efforts. Before joining Meta, she worked for a rights holder in Germany, focusing on both online and offline enforcement of counterfeit goods. Mrs. Vollmer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from the University of British Columbia in Canada. She resides in Dublin, Ireland with her husband and 3 young children.

Anson Fraser

As one of the leaders on Meta’s brand protection efforts, Anson helps businesses safeguard their brands from a range of threats, including intellectual property infringement, counterfeits, business impersonation, and brand scams. With a deep understanding of the complex issues facing brands today, he empowers companies to take control of their on platform presence and protect their brands. At Meta, Anson leads the go-to-market strategy for Brand Rights Protection, a tool that enables brands to monitor for and resolve on potential brand issues. His expertise spans product development, marketing, and customer engagement, with a proven track record of driving growth and adoption of Meta’s brand protection solutions. With over 15 years of experience in product management, marketing and business analysis, Anson has developed a unique blend of technical and business acumen. Prior to joining Meta, Anson held roles at Envestnet (financial technology) and Zurich North America (commercial insurance), where he drove product development and customer success. Anson holds an MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame.
