ACG Members and IPO Crime Group members are invited to attend a knowledge sharing webinar by Chris Bailey and Martin Evans from Rouse on IPR enforcement in China, specifically in relation to Pandabuy and other "China shopping agents", a business model which has enabled UK buyers of fashion and footwear "reps" to import counterfeits directly from Chinese online market places such as Taobao, JD.com and 1688. Their presentation will cover the China shopping agents model, their recent enforcement action against Pandabuy, the other agents replacng Pandabuy and the challenge IP owners face with tackling such cross-border cases.
